What Is Cloud Computing?

What is Cloud Computing service

What do you think of when you hear “the cloud”? Well, Rocky Balboa though it was something to do with actual clouds…and for those who think so too allow me to explain as simply as possible.

What cloud computing really means

The cloud is a short, more memorable way of saying “cloud computing” which is a type of internet based computing where you can basically send files, apps, and pretty much everything to another device the same way an email would send off to another computer. The cloud is more intricate than the simple email server but it is a great way of thinking when your wondering how things work.

Before hit was available to us civilians, the military and research facilities were the only ones with the capability of using this amazing invention. Now days it is not just to run the intense computing they need. It is now used for high performance, internet required games like Second Life and World Of War Craft. Another thing we use the cloud for is to send our own personal data to another device like pictures and videos. Where would we be if we did’t have the cloud for that right?

What is the difference between the cloud and your computers storage? The storage on your computer is only on your computer and is mainly the things you need to access quickly from that device. The cloud is a storage service that you can access from multiple devices at once if you want. There is an available free space but then after a certain amount you must pay for more storage or buy your own cloud serve for about $100-$200.

What are the benefits of using the cloud you ask? Well first of all, those pictures you keep erasing from your phone and computer because there is not more room will be able to stay until your ready to print them. You can record more video if you like with out the worry of taking up space with just one or two. Those large file you need to send to a colleague or student/teacher can easily be on there device of choice with in minutes if not seconds of you sending them, unlike email which you must wait for a while a lot of times, and definitely WAY better than snail mail. So if I have not enticed you to try it out by now then do a little research on it. If you are careful and protected correctly then you should not have any issue of hacking to worry about.

I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s equally educative and entertaining, and
without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.

The problem is something which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy I came across this during my search for something relating to this.
